This eLearning is designed to enhance your ability to engage respectfully and confidently with LGBTQ+ communities. This training will equip you with the tools to provide inclusive and affirming interactions for customers from diverse backgrounds, ensuring everyone feels safe and valued.


The eLearning has 3 interactive modules:

  1. LGBTQ+ Review
    • Understand key terms and concepts within the LGBTQ+ community, including the trans community, and the importance of inclusive customer service practices.
  2. Why Inclusion Matters
    • Discover why fostering an inclusive environment is critical, and explore the experiences and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals in customer service settings.
  3. Inclusion in Practice
    • Learn actionable strategies, including the use of neutral language, avoiding assumptions, mirroring language, and handling mistakes with care to create positive customer experiences.


We believe the best way to learn about our community is from community members themselves. Our eLearning courses are developed by LGBTQ+ subject matter experts and include videos of community members sharing their experiences.

  2. Identify key aspects of inclusive customer service
  3. Describe common experiences and challenges of LGBTQ+ people in the customer service setting
  4. Implement practical LGBTQ+ allyship strategies in customer interactions
